Ok, so our second project was to make 3 spheres out of cardboard. Difficult huh? Just a bit! But not worries, i got it down eventually. The real struggle of the whole thing is that of course, cardboard=box, not cardboard=cirlce. The first one dealt with the skin of the sphere. My skin sphere was a series of pentagons and triangles, which came together to form an almost soccer ball looking object. My second sphere mainly depended on the middle bringing it together. My ball came out looking like a spikey flower. The concept seemed easy, but was more difficult, seeing as i had to cut out nearly 100 pieces for this one. The last one was by far the hardest, but easiest one out of them all. The final sphere had to be made without glue! How you say?? Slots, slots, slots. The way i pictured it in my head was not the way it turned out, but i was still content with my final projects.
Good write up of your process with the spheres! and nice pirate birdie!
